AS Preliminary Task Evaluation

AS Preliminary Task Evaluation
www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mh0_mk5rHtE

  • Our video has a cut on action,
  • obeys the 180 degree rule
  • there are 7 different shots
  • but there is no shot reverse shot during the dialogue
  • also at times the focus on the camera went and appears blurred, and at the end the camera wobbles due to a faulty tripod.
  • during the task we were pressed for time so some scenes seem rushed as we took one shot of each angle.
  • Also the actors changed the script each time we filmed them, this proved challenging for our editor to cut on action with dialogue; especially when he pulls the chair to the table.

if we had more time the quality of the images themselves would be increased as would the dialogue and screenplay. The editor  used his own editing software instead of the Final cut pro software due to errors on the computer.

the most important lesson i have learnt is the make sure all the equipment we are using works correctly and that the settings on the camera are correct for best quality filming
